Surrette / Rolls Batteries

Surrette / Rolls has been building quality industrial deep-cycle storage batteries for three generations! Surrette Battery Company Ltd. and the manufacturing facility is located in Springhill, Nova Scotia on the East Coast of Canada. Established in 1935, with a production facility in Salem, Massachusetts, Surrette relocated to Canada in 1959 and is the Nation’s only remaining independent battery manufacturer. The full line of Surrette Batteries, as well as the Rolls Battery line of products, have been manufactured in our plant for over 50 years.

Special design efforts to cater to the needs of the solar and renewable energy industry has resulted in very reliable long-lived storage batteries ideal for many of our customers. These batteries are commonly used in Big Frog Mountain's solar power systems that require larger capacity, long-life power reserves.
